The Amur Leopard

blue swirl Return to Adopting Wildlife

This is one of the extraordinary gifts
you can make to the World Wildlife Fund
to help save the beautiful Amur Leopard.

Amur Leopard

It requires a large donation, but there are only 40 of these leopards left,
and hopefully,
we can still save them,
if we do so now
.

Amur Leopard

For a $25, $250, or $50 adoption kit, visit the World Wildlife Fund site to adopt an Amur Leopard.

Or make a larger gift by joining
the Amur Leopard Conservation Society
(ALCS).
With fewer than 40 remaining in the wild, Amur leopards are at risk of extinction.
The ALCS is the world's leading advocate for this extremely rare and beautiful animal.
You will receive updates from chief scientists, a detailed life history of your leopard,
and camera-trap photos of your leopard in the wild.

Your membership will advance scientific research to track, analyze
and ultimately save the Amur leopard.

This is an extraordinary gift -
and by joining the Amur Leopard Conservation Society,
we can help prevent their extinction!

The forests surrounding the Amur-Heilong watershed provide
the last refuge
for the critically endangered Amur leopard.

Membership will include information about track analysis, scat analysis, and camera traps,
with WWF and its partners, including the Wildlife Conservation Society,
the Institute of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources,
and Zov Taigi who have uncovered the detailed life histories of 15 of these 40 ultimate survivors.

Membership helps implement measures to restore degraded forests, reduce poaching,
and increase the population
of prey species within the leopard's habitat.

Amur Leopard Conservation

This would be an amazing thing to do for the Amur Leopards -

and for our planet.
